Interpreting New Experiences

The other day my mom was taking care of little Joshua. At one point she took Joshua with her to the car wash. Upon returning Joshua home, the following exchange of greetings took place:

Cathy: "Hi Joshua! What did you guys do today?"

Joshua: "I was in a dish washer!"
